OOO Unipro Engineering, a subsidiary of Unipro PJSC, and Kubanenergo PJSC have signed two energy service contracts to create an electric power commercial and technical metering system with remote data collection at Kubanenergo PJSC facilities: Slavyanskiye Electric Grids (Slavyansk region, Krasnodar Krai) and Tikhoretskiye Electric Grids (Tikhoretsk region, Krasnodar Krai).
Currently, there are 1.2 mln points of electric power delivery installed at Kubanenergo PJSC grids while the share of automated points amounts only up to 6 %. As part of the projects realization, Unipro Engineering will install 8,200 meters, which allows to reduce losses after the contracts’ implementation by 15.5 bn kWh per year, to increase the net output to the grid and to switch to the automated collection of electric power consumption data.
