On the 24 of October at 09:59 p.m (local time), following the overhaul, Power Unit 1 of Berezovskaya GRES Branch of Unipro PJSC (Krasnoyarsk Territory, Sharypovo District) has been connected to the Unified Energy System of Siberia. The repairs have been going on for over four months. The main result of the overhaul was the extension of the economic life of the turbine unit of Power Unit 1 by 50 thousand hours, which was confirmed by an industrial safety review performed by Sibtekhenergo PJSC.
The boiler room of Power Unit 1 underwent technical measures associated with the increase of the reliability of the boiler operation. For the first time this year, a high-pressure hydrodynamic engine was used to clean the boiler convection surfaces from the slag, which allowed for the increase of cleaning quality.
Also, all standard works associated with the inspection of the main equipment and auxiliary facility were performed at the power unit.
The scheduled repairs of Power Unit 2 of Berezovskaya GRES Branch were completed by the 8th of June.
As a result, Berezovskaya GRES Branch of Unipro PJSC completed the repairs of the main operating equipment scheduled for 2016 and prepared this equipment for the winter period of peak loads.
