In Q1 2017 the power plants of Unipro PJSC generated 13.6 bln kWh, which is 12.2% less compared to the same period of 2016. The total electricity sales over the reporting period amounted to 14.3 bln kWh (-13.3% against the previous year).
The generation reduction is mainly caused by the downtime of the generating equipment placed on cold reserve due to the System Operator dispatching.
In January - March 2017, due to the weather conditions, the heat production increased by 1.9% compared to the same period of 2016 and amounted to 849.0 thousand Gcal.
