In January – June 2017, the Unipro PJSC power plants generated 24.5 bn kWh, which is 12.5% less compared to the same period of 2016.
The decrease in generation was caused by the downtime of generating equipment in cold reserve according to System Operator's scheduling, which was due, to a large extent, to increased water levels in Sibiria compared with the same period in 2016.
In H1 2017, due to weather conditions, the heat output grew by 5% compared to the same period of 2016, and amounted to 1194.2 thousand Gcal.
