Unipro Publishes RAS Accounting Statements for 9M 2017

Unipro PJSC publishes the accounting statements prepared according to the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for January–September 2017.

Over 9M 2017, Unipro PJSC revenue accounted for RUB 57.6 bn (-2.8% compared to the same period of 2016).

The higher performance indicators of the previous year were caused by operation of Power Unit No 3 of Berezovskaya GRES in January 2016. The decrease in revenue in the reporting period, was also influenced by the decline of electricity generation by Surgutskaya GRES-2 and Berezovskaya GRES due to equipment downtime in cold reserve in accordance with the System Operator scheduling; reduced electricity generation due to the general inspection of Shaturskaya GRES CCGT power unit and modernization of Yaivinskaya GRES CCGT gas turbine.

Meanwhile, a positive effect was produced by the revision of CSA prices for Surgutskaya GRES-2, Yayvinskaya GRES and Shaturskaya GRES CCGT power units.

In May 2017, Unipro PJSC received the final part of the insurance benefit in the amount of RUB 20 bn for the accident at Berezovskaya GRES Power Unit No. 3 resulting in the increase of net profit by RUB 21 bn.
