Unipro Group discloses the data of the audited consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for 2018.
Unipro Group’s revenue over the reference period reached 77.8 bln roubles (+1.6 % compared to 2017).
The following factors have mainly driven the company’s results over 2018:
- the revenue increase caused by capacity sales under capacity supply agreements at Surgutskaya GRES-2,
- the revenue downturn from electric power sales affected by the reduction of electricity generation volumes at Unipro PJSC power plants over the reference period that was partly set off by electric power output growth in Q4 2018.
EBITDA over the reference period amounted to 27.9 bln roubles. EBITDA reduced by 41.2 % year-to-year due to a one-off effect – the insurance benefit of 20.4 bln roubles received in 2017. Excluding this factor, Unipro PJSC EBITDA would have increased by 2.9 % in 2018 compared to 2017 representing the stability of the company’s business.
The underlying net profit amounted to 18.0 bln roubles in 2018.
