Unipro PJSC publishes the accounting statements for January – September 2020 prepared according to the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).
Over 9 months of the current year, Unipro PJSC revenue amounted to RUB 58.3 bn.
A 4.3% revenue decline comparing to the same period of 2019 was due to lower volumes of electric power sales resulting from lower power generation, warm winter, coronavirus pandemic, and OPEC+ deal.
Thereat, in the third quarter of the current year, the revenue from electric power sales grew by 5.1% as compared to the same period of 2019, which has partly mitigated the effects of factors listed above. A higher revenue in 3Q 2020 was due to a more intensive utilization of combined-cycle power units resulting from changes in the summer maintenance schedule.
A decrease of profit before tax was primarily due to decline in revenue.
Net profit for 9M 2020 was 16.6% lower than in the same period last year and amounted to RUB 11.3 bn.
