This Class B Ambulance Car is fitted out with state-of-the-art equipment for emergency care, transportation, and monitoring of the patient at the pre-hospitalization stage. The medical outfit of the car makes it possible to launch medical intervention even before arrival to the hospital. As early as in the car, the doctors will be able to make an EKG, an express blood glucose test, administer resuscitation procedures, and assist with emergency delivery. The car interior is equipped with an AC unit, bactericidal lamp, and anti-epidemic kit with a respirator. The keys for the new ambulance car were officially handed over to Pavel Chebotar, Chief Doctor of the Sharypovo Municipal Hospital, by Dmitry Kazarin, Director of Unipro PJSC Berezovskaya GRES Branch.
“We are happy to support health professionals’ efforts to control the spread of the coronavirus disease and their noble cause of saving human life. The power engineers have assisted and will continuously assist with the advancement of the technical facilities in the Sharypovo and Sharypovsky District healthcare sector”, he said. “This is an excellent gift for Sharypovo health professionals, as our town has never had an ambulance car of such high class before. It will make it possible for us to provide patients with competent urgent care much faster, as early as on the way to the healthcare facility. We will use this car to take severe patients to the hospitals of Achinsk and Krasnoyarsk”, said Pavel Chebotar as he was accepting the car keys. “We are grateful to Unipro for the considerable charity support they give to the municipal health sector. This car fitted out with the state-of-the-art medical equipment will definitely save someone’s life, and human life and health is the supreme value”, said Oleg Pimenov, Deputy Head of Sharypovo, who attended the ceremony.
Unipro PJSC is providing healthcare facilities with ongoing support in the regions where its power plants are located. In the period from 2012 through 2017, the company procured two expert ultrasonography machines, two gastrointestinal and bronchopulmonary endoscopes, a mobile X-ray photograph, and a lung ventilator for the Sharypovo Municipal Hospital. And in 2020, a new ambulance car and a large package of anti-epidemic overalls, medicines, and sterilisers was handed over to the rural hospitals and first aid stations of the Sharypovsky Municipal District.
