Surgutskaya GRES-2 branch of Unipro PJSC conducted a commission pre-flood inspection of hydraulic structures.
All the hydromechanical equipment of water discharge and sluice structures were checked and tested in service. An external inspection of the hydro system was conducted. Certificates of readiness of facilities and hydro-mechanical equipment to discharge the 2022 spring flood were drawn up.
The expected timing of ice breakup in the Ob River near the city of Surgut is May 5 (+/- 5 days), and the expected maximum level of the Ob River during the flood period is 680–750 cm. These parameters are within the long-term annual average values.
Hydrotechnical facilities serviced by the Surgutskaya GRES-2 ensure maintenance of the specified parameters of the Surgutskoye reservoir (water area of Surgutskaya GRES-2 and Surgutskaya GRES-1) and reliable operation of equipment of both GRESs.
