The results of the Russian National Professional Skills Contest among chemical laboratory assistants are announced. The event took place from April 11 to April 15 in Moscow.
8 Russian fuel, energy, and metallurgical companies participated in the contest.
It aims to find the best professionals, promote best practices and techniques, train professional skills and share experience and expertise.
Sofia Karnaukhova (Angarsk Polymer Plant JSC) took the 1st place in the nomination “Best Laboratory Technician for Heating Medium Quality Control 2022” with the score of 207,67 points. 2nd place went to Zhanna Kalishchuk (Angarsk Polymer Plant JSC) with 201.13 points. Irina Denisova, a laboratory assistant of the Berezovskaya GRES branch of Unipro PJSC, rounded out the top three. She had a perfect score of 195.8.
The challenge comprised three stages, where participants competed in the knowledge of the requirements of regulatory and technical documents, trained in practical skills of routine operations, first aid skills for the injured in an accident, as well as tried to reveal their proficiency and creativity as much as possible.
Participants highlighted the high level of organization and expertise of the competition judges.
“I was happy with my trip. Got a lot of vibrant emotions, new pleasant acquaintances and professional experience. The contest administrators and judges were warm and friendly. The most emotional and interesting for me was definitely the first stage, where we had to administer first aid to the person” — shared her impressions Irina.
