Several methods have been developed at the plant to implement thereof. They include, inter alia, selection of analogous spare parts with the same quality characteristics but at a lower price.
When supplying equipment, serial numbers of imported products are recorded and domestic analogues are selected. There already exist successful examples of this method implementation. Russian-made bearings were selected instead of foreign-made ones used at the plant's equipment.
Another method of import substitution is participation of the company specialists in forums and exhibitions where domestic manufacturers present their equipment. In this case, a representative of the manufacturer visits the plant after negotiations. Then, on the site, he makes measurements, verifies the parameters, and then proposes the solution. A successful example is the selection and implementation of flexible metal hoses for fuel supply at the Surgut CCGT power units. If all these hoses need to be replaced, the savings will amount to about RUB 10 mln.
According to Ruslan Krasnov, Head of the Operational Excellence Group of Surgutskaya GRES-2 Branch of Unipro PJSC, the branch is now implementing a project to introduce the analogous mechanical seals for the foreign-made pumps. There already exists the experience of the presented option implementation: replacement of the seal Flowserve (Austria) with an analogue manufactured by Unichimtek JSC. The domestic analogue is of high quality and at the same time more affordable both in terms of maintenance and the price of the seal.
