On November 3, 2023, Unipro PJSC received a certificate proving its readiness to operate in the autumn and winter period 2023-2024. The order was signed by Minister of energy of the Russian Federation N.G. Shulginov.
To ensure trouble-free operation in the autumn and winter period, all power plants of Unipro PJSC have developed and implemented a set of measures aimed to improve the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the plant equipment. Thus, Unipro power plants have fully completed the planned maintenance of the power units and heating networks. Preparation of operation buildings, structures, and utilities was carried out. During preparation of the Unipro PJSC facilities for the autumn and winter period, much attention was paid to working with operations personnel. Briefings, emergency, and fire safety drills were conducted. Professional skills competition was held among Unipro PJSC employees.
The Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation has assessed the readiness of Unipro plants for operation during the heating season based on the applicable availability indicators. Based on the results of the certificate score calculation, the facility availability index (FAI) is equal to 99 out of 100.
